Some ideas inspired by the painting:"FIRE" (Santa Fe 1994)

 

"to paint, is to give something of my soul"

 

This fire is the representation of a "vital power" I was starting to feel when I was in Santa Fe.

This magical city, the people, the sunsets, the mountains, everything at this time helped me to see things in a different way I used to.

I discovered a "vitality" inside of me that pushed me to paint differently.

This vital power called "soul" and without which nothing can exist, without which a painting can't have a soul is what I want to communicate.

To paint, for me, is to give something of my soul through the language of art.

By giving what I think is the best of myself, I want to create an "emotional truth" in my paintings to move people's feelings.Now go to the painting Mask.......

"Peindre, c'est donner quelque chose de mon ame"

Ce feu est la representation d'une "force vitale" que je commencais a ressentir en moi quand j'etais a Santa Fe

La magie de cette ville, les couches de soleil, les montagnes, tout, a ce moment donne m'a permis de voir la vie d'une autre maniere.

Je decouvrai une "vitalite" a l'interieur de moi qui me poussait a peindre differement.

Ce pouvoir vital appele "ame" et sans lequel rien ne peut exister, sans lequel un tableau ne peut pas avoir une ame, c'est ce que je veux communiquer.

Peindre, pour moi, c'est donner quelque chose de mon ame a travers le langage de l'art.

En donnant ce que je pense etre le meilleur de moi-meme, je veux creer "une verite emotionnel" dans mes tableaux afin que les gens puissent ressentir quelque chose.Direction du tableau Mask
