I have, deep down , a constant desire to project myself towards one elsewhere, welcoming and colorful. This desire of meeting with the unforeseen, this excitation at the idea of unexpected results is like a perpetual birth which makes us forget about the finitude of our being, its imperfection.

However, we have, in our spirit the awareness of the perfection, and it is through this movement of the mind towards the world that we try to reach it.

This desire to discover new places that I do not know yet in which my imaginary could float and nourish itself, is what makes my spirit vibrate at the time to paint. It is on the canvas that this place, that I seek so much, seems to exist, that something seeks to express itself in the concrete , a distant concept in search of a shape .

White surface always in abeyance, favorable to the acceleration of the mind. Favorable to the “opportunity” which will reveal in the same time our surplus of existence.

Art is also the liberation of the mind and of the imagination.

To do a painting, is like going on a journey in an unknown country that we discover through the innocent look of a child. Things occur and appear. Your imagination is here to embrace this new emotional scenery by seizing the relationship between the things, while freeing itself from the world to outshine it better.

Sudden meeting between a color and an idea , an imaginary world faced with the unconscious control of the mind. My work wavers between the improvisation and the control.

Through this journey, I transform the energy that I have inside while being in contact with the energy of the earth. By involving myself in what I do, it forces me to become. We become through this opening that the creation creates. The desire to paint refers to the desire of persevering in its Being. It refers to the need we have to develop the power of which we are able to.

The Being is the force which is inherent in us.

To paint, to be an artist, it is to be a thinker always stimulated by the contact with the world, it is to exceed itself by seizing the deep pulsation of the universe. To do a painting, it is an approach full of curiosity and of thoughts. The mind, animated by the curiosity expressed in a bath of colors.

The experience, through the daily practice of painting, is creative to our being and at the same time revealing of the real. This experience that we also get by means of painting free ourselves from our peculiarity because we are becoming available to things and we feel the spirit in its universality.

Experience is the life of the spirit, of the mind because what we feel enriches the spirit and our art.

Through the act of painting, through the creation, we seek to create ourselves as a human being who participates to the cultural and spiritual enrichment of our time.
